 Out of Africa...
A safari in Tanzania is a unique experience. Nowhere else you'll find as many different
animals as you'll find here.
A luxury camping safari combines the Out of Africa experience of camping in the
bush with the comfort of a 5-star restaurant and a well stocked bar.
Robanda Safari Camp, Serengeti
A semi-permanent tented camp was built on an exclusive location, right in the path of the
wildebeest migration.
During the months May to July and October to December, the Camp is
surrouded by thousands of wildebeest and zebra. There is a dense wildlife concentration
throughout the year though : antelopes, girafes, buffalo, hyenas, lions and cheetahs are
abundant.
Tent bandas
The Camp has spacious semi-permanent canvas tents, with either double king-size bed
or two single beds, foam mattress, pillow, bedsheets and blanket. There is a small bedside
table and dressboy for your clothes. Towells and soap are provided, as well as
complimentary bottled water, insect spray and torch.
Each tent has its own private toilet and (hot) shower facilities, electic light and socket.
In front of the tent there are two safari chairs for you to relax and enjoy the sundowner.
In the evenings the staffs will provide kerosine lamps for a romantic atmosphere.
Reastaurant and bar
The Camp is proud of its panoramic restaurant with
5-star cuisine, and there
is a well stocked bar (at only 30 meters from a natural drinking well).
Safari
You go on safari with a 4wd Toyota Landcruiser with open roof. On such a safari you have
your own private vehicle, so you have full autonomy over your safari; start when you like,
stop when you like and go where you want.
