JMT begeleidde ons bij de beklimming van Mt Meru (zeer onterecht minder
populair) en Mt Kilimanjaro, en bij een budgetsafari naar Lake Manyara,
Ngorongoro en Tarangire. Wij hebben erg genoten van de reis, alles was prima
geregeld. We kunnen je aanraden de reis op voorhand via de website te
bespreken en te boeken, dat bespaart tijd en geld (wisselkosten), en je voelt je een stuk veiliger zonder al dat geld op zak. Mocht je
ook beide bergen willen beklimmen, volg dan zeker hun raad een paar
rustdagen in te lassen als je zoals wij wel sportief en voorbereid maar geen
topsporter bent.

We started our holidays with a 7 days safari (Arusha NP / Lake Manyara / Serengeti / Ngorongoro / Tarangire NP), then we went to Zanzibar where we spent 2 days in Stone Town and 6 days on the East Coast. For the accomodation during the safari we combined luxury camping, lodges and permanent tented camps. The food during the luxury camping was great, congratulations again to our cook. Thanks to our very experienced guide Mohammed we saw all kinds of animals, lots of elephants, zebra, lions.... We even saw leopards...But even without the animals nature is beautiful.
Zanzibar is a small paradise with its white sand and the green sea. We can definitely recommend the Spice Tour with Hamman. He is an excellent guide and very friendly. We loved staying in Breezes Beach Club as the food was great and the people are very friendly. Back home we recommended African Heart to friends and colleagues.

Wrote... Early July we had a great trip with JMT safari's. We took their 4-day safari to Lake Manyara, Ngorogoro and Tarangire. In David we had an excellent guide, who delivered all his promises including the nice weather and the complete 'Big Five'. Campingsites were real basic but good fun and with Happy we had the best cook we could wish for.Thanks JMT for helping to make our stay in Tanzania the experience we were hoping for. Wrote... I was very impressed with the service that I received at your office in the old fort in Zanzibar. Musa was charming and extremely helpful, as well as being knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble, even ensuring that my mobile phone which I lost on the beach some 45 minutes from Stone Town whilst on a spice tour was recovered.The spice tour was excellent and VERY good value for money - it was ten times than the spice tour I went on in 1997 - and I unconditionally recommend it - in fact I have already done this for three friends who are currently on holiday in Zanzibar. The guide Hamman is excellent, being charming and very knowledgeable - in fact it was Hamman who located my mobile phone - a BIG thank you! Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd: de moeizame trekking, de prachtige safari's, de overheerlijke maaltijden, de geweldige begeleiding van onze gidsen, de tranfers, het weekje Zanzibar... All of us were really amazed of the beuatyful landscape, the great panorama views all the time and the fantastic vegetation. Wrote... Dear Tonino, dear Mosses! This is once again to say you "thank you" for your very good organisation of our two-week holidays in Tanzania. It was an unforgetable experience for us. You proved to be as reliable, punctual, personal and flexible in Tanzania, as you had been during the previous e-mail communication. Thanks also to your people who gave our vacation the very personal flavour: 1. Johny, our guide for the hike on Mt. Kilimanjaro via Machame route, was always reasonable and good for a laugh and the one or the other motivating song. Thanks again for taking us out in the Crystal Club on our last evening in Arusha! 2. David, our driver during the following very individual safari, presented us an incredible number and diversity of wild animals, thereof several families (!) of lions and cheetahs. His animal knowledge - also on birds - was outstanding and could more than compete with our 2 very sympathic Belgian bird experts who JMT had found to join us. 3. Innocent, our cook on both trips, served us a great variety of good and fresh food, that he immediately adapted when we (only on 1 day) suffered from the typical altitude sickness. 4. Gideon, finally, was always restless and devoted to helping us making the most out of our holidays. Your personal commitment and organisational talent were really making the difference. Not everything is 100% perfect, but you always try to make your "msungus" (us tourists) pleased and happy. We are happy to endorse you further should people want to contact us.

Wrote... We were a group of 12 people from the Rotaryclub of Maaseik to visit with JMT the northern part of Tanzania. For the people who visited Africa for the first time it was a great experience they will never forget. They are delighted. Now they are convinced that Africa has more to offer then civil war. They found nature and flora fantastic. People of JMT are friendly and efficient. Other people are interested.
