This hotel is not recommended anymore, because even a confirmed booking at this hotel cannot be guaranteed. The hotel management will accept and confirm bookings, but if later a big touroperator would lease the complete hotel for a certain period, all bookings will simply be cancelled, as in this e-mail of October 5th, 2006 :We herewith give notice that with effect from 15th December 2006 we will not be taking any Bookings or Reservations as Chwaka Bay Resort has been fully leased, to an Italian tour company. We also regret that any reservations or bookings post- December 15th are hereby cancelled. We sincerely thank you for your past business and trust you understand that this has been a purely business decision and look forward to your future custom when the circumstances change.
