The preparations

The balloon and basket, together with other equipment, are being collected from customs at Kilimanjaro airport.

All equiment is being inspected at JMT headquarters.

Everything must be tested. All operations are Argus-eyed observed by the JMT staffs.

A press conference is held at JMT headquarters.

Teamleader Karel Abbenes, together with some JMT staffs.

Everything is packed for the expedition.

Two 4wd Toyota Landcruisers with trailer will undertake the expedition.

Four Dutch team members, JMT and two drivers.
