A safari at leisure, as a real safari should be done. No hectic driving from one place to
another, so as to visit a maximum of national parks in a minimum of days. Take your time
and spend a couple of days in an area with one of the highest animal concentrations found on
the continent.
Overnight is in Robanda Safari Camp,
bordering Serengeti NP and Grumeti Game Reserve.
Best time to visit this area is June/July and November/December, when the big herds of
wildebeest and zebra pass through the area during their annual migration. However, the
area has a high animal concentration throughout the year : big herds of elephant, girafes,
buffalo, antelope, hyena,... Besides 4wd safaris, good walking safaris and night safaris
can be done here.
Day 1:
Collect from your hotel in Arusha and transfer to Arusha airport, for flight to the
Serengeti at 12.30 pm. Collect from the airstrip for afternoon safari. Transfer to Robanda
Safari Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2:
Full day at leisure. Possibility for 4wd safari in the morning and the afternoon, walking
safari and/or night safari. Meals and overnight in the same Camp.
Day 3 :
Full day at leisure, with possibility for 4wd safari, walking safari and/or night safari.
There is also the possibility for safari inside the Serengeti boundaries. Meals and
overnight in the same Camp.
Day 4 :
Another full day at leisure. Meals and overnight in the same Camp.
Day 5 :
Morning safari in the Serengeti. Transfer to the airstrip, for flight back to Arusha (or
straight to Zanzibar) at 11.05 am.

Remarks :
A 4wd safari inside Serengeti boundaries is possible on day 2-3-4, subject to
